Record Summary Overview

Note: This article covers the summary functionality for the most current Record Summary design. For information on the Legacy Record view, see Record Summary Overview (Legacy).

The Record Summary is the default view when loading into Record Detail View. It provides at-a-glance information for the most critical details of a Record and the Persons, allows in-line editing of pertinent details, and quick access to common Record functions, such as active Workflows, Documents, and Financials.

Layout

At the top of the summary are any important Reminders that have been added to the Record. Below Reminders are cards for the Record and each Person on the Record. Beneath these summary cards are widgets for access common Record functions.

Customization

The fields in the Summary Cards and the selection/layout of the widgets below can be adjusted to suit each firm’s needs. See Configuring the Record Layout for more details.

Reminders

Reminders allow you to put vital information at the top of the Record for immediate visibility when a user opens the Record. See Adding a Record Reminder (Alert) for more information.

Record Card

The Record Card shows selected Record-level fields. The majority can be edited directly on the card by clicking on any line item to make changes and to commit your change. Click to jump to the Record Profile Information page.

Which fields show in the Record Summary Card will depend on the Record Layout Configuration settings.

Most of the available Record Summary Card fields are pulled from Profile Information. The following other fields are also available:

  • Service Level: Sets the default Services a Record will receive through the Client Service Monitor.
  • AUM: Total Assets under management. This number is automatically calculated based on all asset data logged in Financials > Asset/Liability. Only Assets with the Managed toggle on are considered. Record must have a Classification of Client for AUM to calculate.
  • Net Worth: This value is automatically calculated from the assets and liabilities in the financials section of the Record.
  • Annual Income, Liquid Net Worth, Overall Investment Experience, Overall Investment Objective, Overall Net Worth, Overall Risk Tolerance: These fields are pulled from Financials > Engagement.

Person Cards

The Person cards pull together information from throughout Profile Details. All information can be edited directly from the Card using the pencil icon on any line item. Click to jump to the Person Profile Information page.

Which fields show in the Person Summary Card will depend on the Record Layout Configuration settings.

Widgets

The available widgets and their order will depend on the Record Layout Configuration settings.

Activity Feed

Get a quick look at what’s happened to the Record recently. See additions, changes, and deletions to Actions, Service Monitors, Opportunities, Contact Info, Financials, and Documents.

The list can be filtered by the type of activity or the date range in which it took place.

Workflows

Allows you to see quick views of Active Workflows, Active Steps in those workflows, Recurring Definitions, and Service Monitor details. The first five active in any category will be displayed. Any line item can be clicked to be taken directly to the detail for that item.

Within the Active Steps view, any visible Step can be Completed without Note using the check control , or reassigned and have the Due Date edited using the pencil control .

Financials

Shows aggregate financial information. The line items for Income & Expenses and Taxes will show the most recent available year of data, but other years can be selected to show through the drop-down.

Opportunities

Shows the five most recent Opportunities associated with the Record along with the total projected Revenue. Click an Opportunity to be taken directly to it.

Documents

Shows the five most recently added/updated documents. Click the document icon to open/download the file.
