Saving Embedded Images in Captured Emails

Saving Embedded Images in Captured Emails

To avoid unnecessarily storing logos and signature images, AdvisorEngine CRM does not capture images embedded in emails by default. This setting may be reversed if desired.

  1. Navigate to Settings > Firm Profile > Firm Preferences.
  2. Click Edit in the upper right.
  3. Enable or disable the checkbox for Save Embedded Images as desired.
  4. Click Save.
Note:
Some email clients do not handle embedded images properly and send them as attachments instead. If an image comes through as an attachment, AE CRM will always capture and store the image regardless of this setting.
