Managing User Profiles

Managing User Profiles

An AdvisorEngine CRM User is anyone who has (or had) unique login credentials for accessing your CRM database.

The User Profiles Grid (Settings > User Profiles) shows you all Users ever created in your database, both Active and Inactive.

In order to preserve data integrity, Users cannot be deleted from AE CRM.

Features of the User Profiles Page

User Profile Grid

The User Profile Grid provides a list of all Users that have existed in your CRM database along with quick-glance information about the Users. As a Grid, you can use the Column Chooser to change the information that is displayed, or Filter and Sort to refine your view. (For example, if you have a large number of previous Users, you could filter to show only Active Users.)

The Edit link on each row allows you to jump directly to the User Profile for the selected User. See User Profile Overview for more information.

Show Users For

The Show Users For drop-down lets you quickly filter the Grid to only show Users that belong to a particular Office. See Managing Record Visibility through Offices for more information on how the Offices feature functions.

New User

If you have an available license, use this button to create a new CRM User. See Adding a New User.

Available Licenses

Next to the New User button, you will see your current total of licenses purchased and how many are available to still use.

Max Licenses

If you are using all your available licenses, the above two sections will be replaced with a notice that you have used all your licenses. It will tell you your current total and provide directions for increasing licenses if needed. See Managing Active Users and Licenses for more information.
