Mitel Connect Integration

Mitel Connect users can take advantage of special Mitel applications to enable new features with AdvisorEngine CRM, including a click-to-dial browser plugin and automatic Record opening on incoming calls.

Click to Dial

The Micloud Connect plug-in for browsers will automatically detect phone numbers in your preferred web browser and allow you to click to dial directly from your browser, including phone numbers displayed in AE CRM. See the above link for further information and installation instructions.

Record Launch on Call

By installing an configuring a Mitel application called EasyPop, a new web browser tab automatically opens based on an incoming call through Mitel. When configured as below, this allows AE CRM users to have the Record of the incoming caller open automatically when receiving a call from a matching phone number.

Download and install

This feature requires Mitel EasyPop to be installed and running on your local machine. Either contact Mitel Support for the latest version of the software or download our archive here: Mitel EasyPop 10.0.1.

Configuring Mitel EasyPop for AE CRM

Once the EasyPop software is downloaded, installed, and running, complete the following steps to configure the software for AE CRM:

  1. Right-click on Mitel EasyPop in your system tray and verify that Popups Enabled is selected.
  2. In the same right-click menu, select Settings....
  3. In the Settings window, verify or set the following settings:
    • Select both Inbound and External Call Types.
    • Select On Appearance for When.
    • Select Trigger Immediately for How.
    • Select URL as the Target.
    • In the URL field, paste https://crm.advisorengine.com/Record/Record/IncomingCall?phoneNumber=%ConnectedNr%.
    • Select Remove delimiters in phone numbers.
  4. Click OK to confirm and save your settings.

Ongoing Use

Whenever you receive an incoming call through Mitel, EasyPop will open AE CRM in a new tab of your default web browser and run through the following scenarios:

  • If you are not currently logged in to the CRM, you will be asked to log in first.
  • If the incoming phone number matches a phone number assigned to any Record, Person 1, or Person 2, that Record will automatically be loaded in the new browser window.
  • If the incoming phone number has a match on more than one Record, you will be given a list of the Records matched and may select which one to open by clicking the Record Name.
  • If there are no matches the new tab will simply state that no Records match the incoming number.
