ClientView: Uploading Households in Bulk
Households in ClientView are used as a representation of a consolidated group of Accounts for reporting. They are also referred to as a group, family, or Client ID. Can also be related to as a portfolio.
You will need to have a CSV spreadsheet with at least 2 columns in the respective order:
- Client ID/Household Name
- Account ID/ Account Number
(You will want to have the same account id/numbers from your portfolio management system if you are planning to import in account information from your portfolio management system into ClientView).
Examples:
Smith Family, 123456789
John Smith, A2C4D

- Log into your ClientView portal as an administrator.
- Navigate to Data > Households.

- Navigate to Actions.

- Click on Upload New Mapping File.

Under Data > Households, the new households should now appear with the account ids/numbers supplied from the spreadsheet.
(Example: Smith Family)

(Clicking on the triangle allows you to view the details of the household.)
