Service Monitor Setup: Defining Services

Before diving into defining the components of your Service Monitor, please be sure to review the Service Monitor Setup: Overview to gain an understanding of how each part works together.

  1. Navigate to Settings > Service Monitor.
  2. Under Services, click Add New Service.
  3. Fill in the details for the Service:
    • Service: Name the Service itself. This is the name that will appear in the Record and Service Monitor Report.
    • Description 1: An internal definition of the Service for your own reference.
    • Lead Time (days) 1: The number of days prior to the due date that the selected Workflow will be added to the system.
    • Frequency 1: Combined with the Interval, determines the time between each due occurrence of the Service.
    • Interval 1: Combined with the Frequency, determines the time between each due occurrence of the Service.
    • Workflow 1: The Workflow Template that will be used to generate a live Action in the system when the lead time prior to the due date is reached.
  4. Click Add to confirm the addition.

1 These items will be the defaults for any Mappings, but can be edited at the Mapping or Record level as needed.
