Service Monitor Setup: Assigning Service Levels to Records

Before assigning Service Levels to Records, you must first have completed the previous steps of setting up the Service Monitor. Be sure to review the Service Monitor Setup: Overview to gain an understanding of how each part works and what needs to be completed first.

Considerations

The Service Monitor begins working for a Record on the day a Service Level is assigned to it. This means that the due dates for each Service on the Record are calculated from the date the Service Level is applied. Adding a large number of Records to a Service Level on the same day will give you a large number of Services with the same due date. AdvisorEngine recommends adding Service Levels on a per-client basis during some staggered event that is particular to that client (such as a regular review cycle).
