Pershing NetX360 is an unattended asset import. Once the initial configuration is set, there is no need to manually initiate the import. The import will run automatically every night after 3am Eastern.

Setting Up the Import

Due to the system work involved, enabling the Pershing NetX360 import can take up to 30 days.

  1. Contact AdvisorEngine Support to request the integration. AE Support will ask you to reach out to your Pershing Account Manager and provide you with details of what you specifically need to request.
  2. Within 30 days, AdvisorEngine is contacted by Pershing with the information needed to enable the integration.
  3. AE Support enables the integration, at which point you will need to enter your IP Numbers in the Rep Codes field for import in the Import Configuration Options.

The import runs automatically overnight. Users in the assigned alert User Group will receive a system alert on the status of the import when they log in each morning.

Assigning the Imported Data

AdvisorEngine CRM will attempt to match all imported accounts to CRM Records by existing account numbers. If any accounts do not find a match to a CRM Record, they will need to be matched manually. This is a one-time process for each account.

  1. Open the Alerts window and click the System Alerts tab.
  2. Click Acknowledge on the alert.
  3. Click Click to Continue. The Asset Import: Unassigned Accounts window will open. Any accounts from the import that have not been previously or automatically matched to a CRM Record will appear in the top Grid. These must be matched to Records to be imported. Any unmatched account data will be discarded from the import. To match accounts:
    1. Using the checkboxes, select all the accounts belonging to a single Record in the upper Grid.
    2. Search for and select the matching Record in the lower Grid.
    3. Click OK in the pop-up to confirm the match.
    4. Repeat the process until all accounts have been matched.
  4. Click Finish to complete the Asset Import process.
